Internal 192kHz/32-Bit High-Quality Processing

The D/A converter used is a PCM1795 high-performance CMOS IC for differential current output with a dynamic range of 123dB, an ultra-low noise S/N ratio and 0.0005% distortion. While this model is very compact, it is in no way inferior to much more expensive, ultra high-class audio equipment.

High Accurate +/- 1.0ppm TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator)

Running in asynchronous mode the highly accurate +/- 1.0ppm TCXO allows fast sampling and high bit rate audio data processing, as ideal data, without deterioration. The +/- 1.0ppm TCXO suppresses clock jitter, which is an important factor in audio deterioration, to achieve sound that is clear and faithful to audio source.

USB Audio 2.0 (High-Speed) 192kHz/24bits

Compatible with USB Audio 2.0 (High-Speed) digital audio inputs. The asynchronous mode allows faithful playback using Bit perfect Digital Audio. The USB signal is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7 or later (special driver included), and MAC OS 10.6.3 or later, standard MAC OS USB audio drivers, and a 192kHz/24 bits maximum output is also available.

ASIO/WASAPI Compatible

The special Windows drivers are also compatible with ASIO, and WASAPI can also be used with Vista and Windows 7 to enjoy better quality sound.

Built-in Organic EL Display

The built-in 96x96 full colour organic EL display (OLED) shows the input sampling rate and is also a level meter. OLED screens can be customized by the user to display images from other sources such as those taken with a digital camera.

Headphone Outputs

The headphone outputs also use a high-end IC, the Texas Instruments TPA6120 IC amp that has a 120-dB dynamic range and excellent S/N ratio with a ultra-low distortion of 0.00014%. The DC amp configuration enables a maximum of 100mW (32 Ohms) using another professional specification IC the Texas Instruments PGA2320, that has a 120-dB dynamic range and ultra-low distortion of 0.0003%. The headphone outputs are OCL (Output Capacitor-less). The absence of capacitors means the sound is transmitted directly to achieve crystal clear resolution. 

Optical, COAX, and USB Inputs, Line Outputs

The S/PDIF (TOSLINK and COAXIAL) inputs and USB audio are all compatible with 192kHz/24bits and also compatible with various input sources from all types of audio players with digital outputs to PCs. The plated RCA output jacks seriously reduce deterioration of the analog output signal.

4-layer PCB

The 4-layer PCB, has two internal layers, for power supply and for ground. This improves power provision to the circuitry and the configuration is also resistent to noise.

SMV (Smoothing-Volume) Technology 

SMV (smoothing-Volume) technlogy is used to allow very fine adjustment of the volume and maintain it at a pleasant level without sudden sharp changes in volume that happen with analog systems.

Firmware Updates

USB connectors for transferring images (Mini-B) can also be used to update the firmware, and will be used for future functions expansion. (A Windows PC is required for updates.)
